CCS Wire

Copper Clad Steel/CCS wire

Copper clad steel (CCS) wire is a bimetallic wire consisting of a steel core cladded with copper. According to conductivity, it can be classified into three types: 21%IACS, 30%IACS, 40%IACS. It can be divided into two mechanical status: Annealed (A) and Hard drawn (H). CCS wire's conductivity and tensile strength can be customized according to customer's requirement. CCS wire can be processed to be silver plated CCS wire or silver plated CCS wire. Manufacture standard: ASTM B 869-96(CCS wire for CATV inlead), ASTM B 452-93(CCS wire for electronic products)

Applications

1. Inner conductor of CATV drop wire

2. Inner conductor of telephone drop wire

3. Conductor of computer LAN cable, field cable

4. Connectors for various electronic components

5. Trolly wire of of power transmission and telephone line

6. Trolly wire of electric railway and rail transit line

7. Shielded wire for power cable

8. Electric power industry ground rod
